If I only had a knut for every asinine, childish, ‘my willy’s bigger than yours’ prank and retort flying through this school, I’d have most the gold in Gringott’s. Honestly, people; some of us are here to learn…

All right, so about myself.

I’m an only child, brought up solely by my father, Ezra, after Mum died in an altercation with a group of hitwizards on convention holiday. Took three of them out before biting it, she did. Right proud of that.

Anyway, so since I was seven, Dad and I have made do ourselves. He’s a genius with potions ingredients, a love that spills over into herbology and magical husbandry, the latter to a much lesser extent. He’d rather locate such creaturistic items off from home. He's preoccupied with work, really, though I attribute that to busying himself to forget that Mum's not here. And he forgets he's not the youth he once was; if there's a dangerous creature to corner, he'll be right for the cornering. Silly man.

Myself, I attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in Hogsmeade, Scotland, and have since the ripe old age of eleven. I’m now narrowing in on fifteen. Only two more years and I’ll be able to magick myself anything I wish, rather than wait for an adult to offer their services.

I hate asking others for help.

Ravenclaw is my house, as was for generations of my family, except for great-great-great-Uncle Ni, who was a guardian knight with a thing for attractive shrubbery. Strange bloke; we don’t discuss him.
